Fort
Riley Child and Youth Services
Child
and Youth Services (CYS) offer programs for infants
(4 weeks) through high school (18 years old).
Our goal is to provide customer driven programs
and services that are developmental in nature
and promote physical, social, emotional well-being
and positive character development. The programs
and services utilize multiple delivery points
and are high quality, affordable and available
to eligible patrons. We wish to provide a safe
environment, enriching experiences, and caring
supervision within our programs. Our programs
are offered as a supplement to, and not a substitute
for, the family. We encourage and provide opportunities
for parental involvement. Please become familiar
with our curriculum and visit our facilities so
you can see what experiences are available to
youth here at Fort Riley. For more information,
please contact Central Enrollment Registry (CER)
at (785) 239-4847 or email DCACYS@riley.army.mil.

Neighborhood Project
The Flint Hills Resource &

Riley families by building the capacity and quality

the recruitment policy by identifying12 to 25
licensed FCC homes that meet or have the potential
to meet national accreditation standards for high
quality child care.
The specialist will conduct program
orientations for interested FCC providers and
monitor their homes to ensure they are meeting
all required fire, safety, and health requirements
as well as state and Army policies.
The child care specialist will
work closely with the Fort Riley Child and Youth
Services to provide training on the latest child
care techniques and procedures for providing safe
developmental child care in the child care settings.
Child care providers will participate in a web-based
market pilot defined by NACCRRA.
Providers will be trained using
the 13 military models as well as any additional
training needed for children with special needs,
infant/toddlers, or any other training determined
to be important for child care providers. The
specialist will also work in conjunction with
NACCRRA for subsidy, tracking, and reporting purposes
as defined in the RFP. In addition, the child
care specialist will conduct periodic announced/unannounced
