& Girls Club provides diverse activities that
meet the interests of all youth, ages 5 to 18.
Core Programs engage young people in activities
with adults, peers and family members that enable
them to develop self-esteem and to reach their
full potential. Based on physical, emotional,
cultural and social needs and interests of girls
and boys, and recognizing developmental principles,
we offer programming in five core areas: Character
and Leadership, Education and Career Development,
Health and Life Skills, the Arts, and Sports,
Fitness, and Recreation.

This area provides social services on a non-sectarian
basis; supplemental and Emergency relief; temporary
assistance for transient families; and regularly

OPERATES:
A self-sustained Thrift Store through donations
of good reusable items from the community.
CHRISTMAS:
The Salvation Army provides Christmas baskets
to families who would otherwise go without a meal
and provides toys for children of needy families.

Olympics is an international yar-round program
of sports training, education and athletic competition
for more than one million children and adults
with intellectual disabilities. Special
Olympics Kansas touches the lives of 5,580 athletes
who will train and compete year-round in 22 sports.
Through our organization, the athletes improve
physical fitness, acquire new skills, develop
lifelong friendships and encourage widespread
community understanding and acceptance.
